If you ask me for the best West Virginia spot, I will always vote for a Greenbrier Resort engagement session!
A hidden gem in West Virginia, The Greenbrier Resort is so grand and has SO many beautiful options for photo spots, and is perfect for a wedding or engagement session. I love all of the florals and the greenery paired with the white backdrop, but I also love that there are a ton of beautiful rooms with large windows, so even if it is raining there are beautiful spots for portraits.
This Greenbrier Resort Engagement session was super special, because Jessica and Seth planned a sweet little getaway and race for the race weekend! They love visiting every year, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get engagement photos before the big race.
I am SO not a runner, but I think if I were going to be, this would be the place to be, haha! You can choose to just do a 5k, or 10k, or marathon I think, and it ends with a yummy brunch at the end… I might have to suffer through the 5k one year to get to the brunch because I LOVE brunch at The Greenbrier!!
These two were so fun, and SO easy to create magic with. I absolutely loved this session and choosing a few favorites for this blog post was the hardest part!! We even explored some new spots I had never photographed even though I am there all the time, and we found some beautiful little pockets of light!
