A few weeks ago, I held a contest on my Facebook page. In order to win an engagement photography session, the couple had to post a photo and have their friends like the photo. Frankie and Tyler got almost 400 votes for their photo! I couldn’t believe how many friends showed their love to help them win.
We originally planned to do the session at Bald Knob in Virginia. But the weather was looking grim and we knew the road wouldn’t be accessible, so we decided last minute to meet in between us instead. This turned out to be a great decision! Fayetteville is called “The Coolest Small Town”, and I can see why. The rain held off and there were just enough clouds to diffuse the light perfectly. These two were naturals in front of the camera! Frankie has the most beautiful long blonde hair, and Tyler was cracking jokes the whole time to keep us laughing.
When these two met in Morgantown, West Virginia, and their connection was almost instant. Tyler proposed just a few minutes after Frankie was complaining that he never would, haha! They were taking photos at Dollywood, and the photographer told them to pose themselves and he got down on one knee. They were lucky enough to not only get a cute photo but also to get season passes from a manager who saw the proposal!!
After their session, we ended up getting delicious pizza at Pies and Pints downtown. I am just incredibly thankful that I have a job that allows me to spend time with my hubs, make new friends, and create something beautiful. We loved getting to know these two!
