Monika and Wes knew they wanted a simple West Virginia Capitol Elopement and it was an absolutely perfect day!!
They chose to say their vows privately and have a simple ceremony just the two of them, and it was just so sweet. We love a big party, but there is something so stress-free and intimate about an elopement and we were honored to document it and give them some timeline memories to treasure on their walls and in their album at home, to share with friends and family for years to come.
We arrived a their West Virginia Capitol Elopement and the skies were a little gray and with rain in the forecast, they decided to hold the ceremony inside the Capitol building. Surrounded by marble with gorgeous architectural features, it was a beautiful choice.
Then thankfully when we went outside to celebrate their marriage with some gorgeous portraits, the rain held off and the light was perfect, and there was the perfect little breeze. We could not have asked for a better day and I am so excited to share this little highlight of Wes & Monika’s West Virginia Capitol Elopement!
