A week before Ashley + Joe’s intimate wedding, hurricane Dorian showed itself!! After a lot of worry about the weather, Smithfield Station and all other vendors graciously were able to change the ceremony from Friday to Saturday and we had absolutely perfect weather!!
These two said “I do” with tear-filled vows on the dock of Smithfield Station where the sun glowed through the trees just perfectly. Everyone burst into laughter when the cutest ring-bearer was shocked to find out he didn’t actually have the ring, but had been tricked out of the job he took so seriously!!
After a simple but precious ceremony, they celebrated with a few close friends and family with a delicious seafood dinner and time together laughing on the dock. We got the prettiest light for portraits, too!! 
Ashley’s daughter, Autumn, was the sweetest. She helped her mom into her dress, and made she she had water and was resting throughout the day. 
Levi was appalled that a groomsmen had stolen his job… he had been clutching the box he thought held the rings so closely the whole time!!
