Aleksus Mays is such a beautiful dancer! When she’s not spending her time at the studio, she is also pursuing cheerleading! It is easy to see that she is very hardworking, and is going to do great things. In addition to her training at Beckley Dance Theater, she travelled to the Cary Ballet Conservatory, WVU Dance Camp, and she gets the honor of attending the Governor’s School for the Arts this summer at Marshall University! I was able to attend GSA as well, and I know what an experience it is. I am so glad I got to meet Aleksus during our Athena Farm & Vineyard ballet shoot, and I look forward to seeing where this dance journey takes her!
