When I first spoke to Cydni about her wedding at Pipestem, I knew it was going to be such a sweet day to be a part of. She expressed to me that the day was going to be very small; they didn’t want any of the stress of a big crowd, but they just wanted the day to be about the two of them celebrating with their families. While I love the big elaborate weddings, I loved the simplicity and intimacy of this one SO much.
When Will and I arrived at the cabin, we were greeted by Cydni’s sweet mom and one of her precious little sisters. She has two five-year-old twin sisters (in addition to another baby sis and a brother). The twins, Reese and Ramzee and I were fast friends. Anytime I looked at either of them they just grinned at me, which made my job so easy! Their flower crowns and floor-length dresses were perfect, too.
Cydni’s selfless love for her family was so evident in her interactions with Reese and Ramzee. Instead of being pampered by a hair and makeup artist, Cydni did her own hair and makeup, which was flawless! Then she curled the girls hair, did their makeup, and even painted their nails. The love and joy the girls had for their big sis was the sweetest!
The ceremony was so simple and sweet! The cabin was beautiful and was decorated perfectly. Most of the decorations were handmade by the bride herself!
After the ceremony, we got to drive down the road to Pipestem State Park and take SO many bride and groom portraits, which was such a dream for me! The moments right after the bride and groom say “I do” are my absolute favorite. I love getting to spend that time with them as the reality sets in that they get to spend the rest of their lives together!!
When we left this wedding, I felt like we were wishing happiness to friends and family we had known for years. It was such a simple, stress-free day filled with so much love, and I’m humbled we got to be a part of it.

We planned to head back to the reception for cake, but then Cydni said we could grab a few more and right when we got to the stable they let all the horses out and it was so magical!! I felt like we were in a fairytale! 
Of course Renee’s Cakes and Things made a perfect cake; she comes so highly recommended and never fails to create beautiful cakes! 
Reese and Ramszee loved to dance and were so excited to do the cha cha slide with big sis! 
Cydni + JB made this incredible floral ring by themselves! It was stunning!
