For the first time this fall, we finally had a crisp fall day! We arrived at Laurel Fork Baptist Church and the leaves were starting to change. It might not have been the beach wedding Allison imagined, but it was simply perfect.
Allison and Nathan were planning a wedding in South Carolina on the beach, but Hurrican Florence had other plans. When they realized they were going to have to postpone their dream wedding, their families joined together to quickly plan a mountain wedding at home instead.
They still had their beach theme throughout, with seashells, bare feet, and bright colors. It was unique decor for a wedding at a church in the mountains, but simply beautiful.
Allison and Nathan both had quite a journey before they were brought together, including having precious girls. It is so sweet that both of their girls are the same age and the best of friends!
This day brought us so much joy as we watched these two families become one! Sneaking a peek into the sanctuary to see if it was almost time! Watching their sweet momma get ready! Dad had to sneak a peek before the ceremony, too! They planned a beautiful ceremony joining the two families with a sand pouring, and Allison and Nathan both gifted their new daughter a necklace. They held their reception at The Summit Theatre in downtown Bluefield, Virginia. After their first dance as husband + wife, of course they had their first family dance. Too sweet! Allison and Nathan, we wish you and your precious girls all the best + are so glad we got to celebrate with you!
