June 4th was the PERFECT day for a Gaines Estate wedding with Brooke and Nick. We already knew we loved these two after their engagement session, which started with them telling us they were awkward even though they look like models, and ending with them laughing in a canoe for some amazing magazine-worthy engagement photos.
I knew Brooke loved classic details with hints of vintage, so when she also included “dinosaurs” on her wedding questionnaire, I wasn’t sure how that would fit. But they love dinosaurs, and so she added them in such a fun way!
We started the day getting ready with the sweetest girls at the Gaines Estate wedding bridal suite. They were gorgeous and just so calm and welcoming, and they made my job so easy!
Brooke chose to do a first look with her dad and her new step-son, and they were both so sweet. She and Nick chose not to do a first look because Nick wanted the traditional aisle moment, but they chose to read their vows privately which I loved!! It still gave them an intimate moment together.
From the gorgeous bridal party, to the flawless design, to the perfect weather, all with the sweetest couples, we really could not have asked for a better day!!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Varney!! We absolutely love y’all and hope you cherish these forever! I know your little guy will love sharing these memories in an heirloom album!
