Buckeye Farm is a beautiful venue tucked away in southern Virginia and it was absolutely beautiful for Makenzie and Chase’s September wedding! We met Chase and Makenzie last year for their engagement session last year and honestly had been looking forward to this day ever since! These two are just so sweetly in love and it was an honor to document their best day.
We arrived at Buckeye Farm on the most beautiful September day. Honestly, it has become one of my favorite months for weddings. It is not too hot, and then leaves have just barely started to change colors. We had absolutely perfect weather all day! I knew it was going to be a good day when I started out photographing details that included pearls, Bella Belle shoes, and Katie B’s florals!!!
This one might be my favorite from the day! KWP brides are always the most beautiful with so much class!!

The Mia Bella Originals did an amazing job with the boho design. I think it can be hard to pull of a boho style, but this was just simple and understated enough to be perfect for this Buckeye Farm wedding in Virginia!

We snuck out for a little break from the party and some gorgeous portraits once the sun dropped and those are always my favorites.
10/10 recommend the bubble exit! So much simpler, more fun, and more beautiful than sparklers!!
