We absolutely love traveling for engagement sessions, but recently we have found some amazing Bluefield engagement session locations, and several within an hour of Bluefield, West Virginia. I have been sharing with brides a lot recently, so I thought I would share a few favorites here for all you brides planning your dream engagement session!!
Let’s start with The Greenbrier because it is definitely a favorite! It is a little farther, about an hour and a half from Bluefield, West Virginia, but it is definitely worth the drive in my opinion. It has beautiful location options both outside and inside, which we love.

Mercer Street Grassroots District
For a touch of nostalgia, head to the Mercer Street Grassroots District. This charming area is lined with picturesque storefronts, colorful murals, and vintage architecture, creating a whimsical backdrop that exudes small-town charm. We started at the Princeton library for this session, which is so cute. Then we explored the streets while they walked hand in hand so we could grab some authentic photos to document the romance of their engagement.

Fincastle Country Club
Fincastle Country Club is always my go-to for a couple who wants mountain views for their Bluefield engagement session location! Gorgeous mountain views close to home without having to hike to get to them, haha!
Downtown Bluefield | Bluefield engagement session locations
If you want more of an urban/ city vibe, we love downtown Bluefield, West Virginia! It is definitely still a small town, but when we choose the right spots we get a fun downtown vibe!! This bride had a specific vision and this was the perfect spot for them!
Princeton WV home
This is a current favorite because this is on the land where we are building a home!! So sweet. If you’re looking for fields and trees and greenery, we’d love to do your engagement session on our land!
