Amanda + Wil | Chesapeake, Virginia, Classic Church Wedding

Last week we got to photograph the most beautiful wedding in a gorgeous church in Chesapeake, Virginia! We’ve both known Amanda for years; Will (my Will) went to college with her and several of the folks in the bridal party! Wil (the groom) was a hoot and we had so much fun getting to know him as well! Amanda and Will were so sweet and so excited to start this journey together! We felt so honored to be a part of their special day!

Amanda had all of her beautiful details laid out and ready to go!  Will was very excited to do some pictures where he didn’t have to show his face haha! The two exchanged gifts before– we love when couples do this!! Wil gifted Amanda a fall photo session with us (YAY!!), and Amanda chose this super cool watch.  Will (my will) had a blast with these groomsmen. They all loved to laugh at each other!   This prayer was the sweetest moment; when Wil’s sister, Hannah, prayed and thanked God for bringing the two together we all lost it!  Amanda’s grandma was so sweet and sassy + we loved her!  One of Amanda’s bffs is due to have her baby any day in California so she couldn’t travel, but we couldn’t forget her in a few shots! She even got to FaceTime during the ceremony.  This church was so beautiful, and I would say it has to be Joanna Gaines approved…  Amanda and Will wrote their own vows to each other. They were so romantic and heartfelt! Mr. + Mrs. Taylor!!  Even though the sun was so hot, these two were beaming with joy and so excited to be married!  Y’all know I love a good veil shot!!  Will and his mom were both crying during their dance. So sweet! This dance floor was a hoppin’ place!  After dinner we were able to sneak away with Amanda and Will for some gorgeous sunset photos! It really is amazing how close we feel to the bride and groom by the end of the day. These two have an exceptional support system and we had so much fun being able to share so many of their sweet moments with them! Congratulations, Amanda + Wil!!
