A few years ago, Hannah moved to a new town in Virginia for a ministry position at a beautiful old baptist church. As soon as she arrived, many of the church members were trying to set her up with a man that attended the church, and even joked about planning their Virginia wedding!!
Apparently they knew what they were talking about, because a relationship that started with whispers of match-making in the church, car trouble, and a new friendship led to Hannah + Seth saying “I do” to a lifetime together at that same historic church where they first met!
When we arrived at Moffett Memorial Baptist church in Danville, Virginia, Hannah was getting ready with the sweetest group of girls and several dear family members.
She couldn’t even get her dress all the way on before her sweet grandmother had to sneak a hug! Meanwhile, the guys spent the morning hanging out and joking around since you know it takes men about 5 minutes to get ready and women about 5 hours… These guys were so much fun! Hannah was such a princess!!! Her aunt and maid of honor, Mimi, made all of the gorgeous floral arrangements! Love this sweet moment! You know it’s an honor when the bride’s dad looks like this giving her away. They prepared a sweet slideshow that had everyone in tears!! Mr. + Mrs. Hawker!!! Joe (Hannah’s brother) is the man!! This cute car has been in Hannah’s family for years and been used as a getaway car for many family members! All of the reception details were gorgeous!! After two weddings this summer with the Taylor family, I had a hard time saying goodbye. They are such a fun-loving and welcoming group of people. Then of course we snuck out for some sunset portraits. MY FAVE!
