Kaylie + Darrik were brought together when Kaylie’s sister and brother-in-law tried to play match-maker. She just knew they would be perfect together, and after meeting at camp, the two hit it off quickly. After their first date, Darrik called a friend to tell him he knew he had found the woman he was going to marry… and here we are, a year later!
Kaylie + I met our freshman year of college, and after praying for years for God to send the right man, we are SO thankful He brought these two together. Their day was filled with so much joy and these two shared so many laughs! 
Kaylie started the day getting ready with her bff and her sweet sisters. 
Her mom was there to help her into her gorgeous sequined dress and the veil that she hand-made! 
Darrick got ready with best friend and brothers. They were so calm + such a fun group!! 
Then of course Kaylie’a dad had to get a first look with his baby girl before he walked her down the aisle. 
Kaylie’s nieces and nephews made up the cutest group of flower girls + ring-bearers!! 
This moment was precious!!! 
They read hand-written vows which were so sweet. Kaylie also wrote hers in the journal she started for her future husband when she twelve years old that she gifted to Darrik!! 
The moment when instead of telling her groom she’d give him a ring, she said she’d give him a chicken wing!! 
She also asked if he’d gotten her a car as a gift, haha!!

After the ceremony we snuck off for these two to have some time together + got my FAVORITE portraits of all time!! The sun had dipped behind a huge cloud and I din’t think we would get any glow, but then it came peaking through the trees to give us perfect light!!! Plus these are two seriously beautiful people…
Then we headed to the reception, which was beautifully decorated by Kaylie’s sisters! 
Complete with a cotton candy machine!! 
My fave!!
