When we arrived at Jenica’s family farm in the small town of Nathalie for their Virginia farm wedding, the weather was absolutely perfect. The sun was diffused by the clouds and there was a slight breeze and we knew it was going to be a gorgeous day. We started the day already in tears as she told us how special it was for her and Chris to be getting married at her dad’s farm. So important that they planned a wedding hours away from their home in Florida in a small town in the Virginia mountains. This Virginia farm wedding was very intimate, with just a few close friends and family, but every detail was planned beautifully. This dress shot took some work but was totally worth it in my opinion… if you’re curious about the behind the scenes, I have a video that explains why it was hard!! These florals were amazing!! The sweetest moment with her dad!!! We had perfect glowy light and tons of options for beautiful portraits on the farm!! The horses were ignoring us as we drove down to them, but thankfully they gathered around once we went to them. I love how these turned out with the horses in the background! I love the simple cake with lots of real florals– my favorite!! They had a variety of the cutest favors!! We ended the night with some fun sparklers!
Congratulations, Jenica and Chris!! We are so happy for y’all and loved getting to celebrate with you. Thank you for being so welcoming to us and treating us like family!
With love,
